Especially when the price of cars and wood and just about everything else goes up down there. They might even have a hard time producing quite a few things if we didn't sell them nickel, aluminum, wood and ,yes, oil & gas. Electricity cut be curtailed as well.
Maybe some fruits and vegetables would go down for them if we didn't but from them.

Not for $hit hitting the fan but if we could spread just a little on his face it would make for a happy day.

Excellent .... I have been saying for years that none of the players actually wins any election ... be it here of south of the 49th parallel.
With almost 400 million people in the US the best the Dems could come up with was Kamala ? Just a regurgitation of Biden ...
So basically Trump won by default ... as with whats coming with Chicken wing Dougie ... and Piere after him.

Sad thing is that if oil and natural gas were even a little bit sacred from an economic standpoint , as it should be, to our “ government “ in Ottawa our financial situation wouldn’t be nearly as grim as it is. Then again they probably would have quickly found several ways to burn through that revenue as well. I think I’m going to try and stop following politics for the sake of sanity, lol.

Unfortunately oil and gas doesn't get recognized by the Feds as economically sacred. I don't have the latest figure but for a long time the Feds royalties each year from the oil and gas sector was around 29 billion dollars. There are 7 provinces that receive "equalization" payments from 3 provinces that pay for that albeit much less than Alberta. If DS withholds Oil and gas, it's not only Alberta that will be phucked. Just my opinion.

If you want the nitty gritty…..
To put it all in perspective though you have to look at the difference in population between provinces. Of course Quebec by far receives the most of any province in total dollar value ….. :rolleyes:
