They showed the same thing with Danica's car and Stewart's car Tony beat he rin the corners but she beat him down the back straight

I assume you folks get it on Fox and they are doing a terrific job in race coverage .Looks like they have made a real commitment .The only thing lacking is a sock for DW's mouth but SOME people like him .:D

I'd like to see her make history in a big way but my gut says no.

I did get an email from the track that great tickets are still available .
 
With these new cars on Daytona, anybody can win.
I think if you survive the impending crashes and with 50 or so laps to go, you could make a run for the front.
It will be interesting to see how big a role the Draft plays.
Should be an exciting race. :canada:
 
as long as they avoid trouble any driver with a well prepped car and and a good feel for the track can win a plate race. predicting a winner or even a favourite at daytona or talledega can't be done. most restrictor plate wins are the result of a last lap pass within sight of the checkers. i too hope for a good season for danica but one thing bothers me that could affect her season. being romantically involved with another driver. it could also affect ricky stenhouse's season as well. j.p. montoya was romantically involved with a jet drier and look what happened !!!! :rofl:

trevor bayne did an excellent job. but let's not forget the invaluable on the job training he got all through speed week courtesy of jeff gordon.
 
On one of the other forums they believe it was fixed for Danica to win .Well maybe but logic would tell me not .My reply was that most sports are rigged ,baseball ,basketball , hockey but the worst offenders we're fishing and little league Lacrosse . Always has to be someone that wants to think the worse about anything . Personally I think she did it ,worked very hard and succeeded .The world needs more good diverse roll models .(or just roll models)

the 24 is starting on the front row with danica on sunday. judging by jeff gordon's performance today he may just have the car to beat on sunday. dominated 35 out of 60 laps and even with the pass through penalty climbed back up to 12th. this gen 6 car seems to perform well - alot better than that 2 car push nonsense. we're seeing the pack style action again. :D
