Current BG production estimate

Not a great week, but not that bad either.

Status 3800 as of last week for my HTC. Dealer will let me know when 4000 is reached. Maybe a delay because of stop sale re brake boost. And I hope not.
I believe your dealer should know as they have been contacted so, no, You have likely not been affected by that.

The Corvette Blogger reported today (9-28-20) the Brake Sensor problem involved only 38 C8's and all had Vins below 3000.

Thanks for the info Murray !!!
I aims to please. ;)
No worries. They should easily create all 20181 cars before the Christmas break. My forecast doesn't even include Saturdays. As long as the parts chain holds up.

I'm fairly certain they have upped the number of HTC's and that is slowing the line down. I would guess that they represent about 30% of the cars left to build, but I don't think that 30% of production is HTC's yet. The longer it takes to achieve that the higher the percentage will get as time goes by and the slower the line will run as it takes longer to build a HTC as there are more parts on it.

My htc baby was born this morning! VIN - ..12098. I had a tpw of Sept 21st, so 1 week behind estimates. I'll be lucky to see it in Calgary in 4 weeks, not too excited about potentially taking delivery in the snow. I might need a new truck and car hauler to take her down south, borders permitting, for a couple weeks.

Good stuff! At least you'll get it. There is very little steel on the car so no worries about salt.
Out of curiosity when did you get your vin? Before the second shift started 3400 was achieved 7 to 8 days before the build DAY. I'm wondering if that changed at all with the second shift starting.

As you'll see from the description below, my HTC took almost exactly a month from its DOB until my dealer in Calgary received it. So you're likely correct about your delivery time. I'm not sure who your dealer is but when I asked mine some time ago if they'd store it over the winter months (anticipating a "snowy delivery date back then) I was told they didn't store vehicles for customers.

But hey, I'm predicting a very late winter arrival...giving you time to p/u and drive your new C8 home to Saskatchewan...with added extra drive time before you need to park it!

I received my VIN this morning. My dealer checked first thing this morning and it was still at 3400 status. I never received a status update between event 3300 and 3800. At 2pm est he called to say I was at 3800 and gave me my vin.
