There are at least 15 trailers. That would be 150 per run. I'm sure there are a lot more than that depending on where they are. It is a big company that ships not only from Bowling Green

I count almost 30 trailers.
Even at that if they are gone for 2 or 3 days per delivery it all adds up

True. 30 trailers can ship 300 C8's. But only some are gone that long. West coast is shipped by rail. The museum does (can do) more than 8 a day.
Plus there was a QCH which backs things up. So, ya logistics is important which can also hold things up.

Looking good! Sitting at 3300 for about 5 days and TPW of 9/28 might still get time to drive it before the snow flies.

It did go to 3400 about a week before the build day. Mine went at 8 days before, but that was with one shift. So you might not go to 3400 until 3 or 4 days before the build DAY.
not sure if I am reading this correctly. Are you talk about when you went to 3400? Or are telling me some how you know that I went to 3400? If you know that you are a real magician

Before the second shift started the orders went to 3400 about a week before the build day. That would be roughly 400 cars before. So if it's still 400 cars before then it might go to 3400 3 or 4 days before the build day.

LOL NO FAIR! It took about 2 months to clear those cars as I recall. That happened after the Covid shutdown which occured around the end of the 6 week QCH.
