Probably correct, for 98% of owners. I'm not overly protective, don't believe in ceramic and don't put on protective film. However, I do put on a lot of highway km and as I said earlier I found on my first C7 that the regular road grit thrown up by the tires did abrade the leading edge directly behind the tires fairly significantly after 50k km. Second C7 added the optional larger splash guards and noticed a significant reduction in rash. Probably all those twisty secondary roads in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Pennsylvania that I haunt. Lots of gravel on the insides of the turns. ACS Composites in Quebec makes a great one they call a rock guard. It is slightly bigger than the GM optional one but close to $800C by the time you pay all the taxes and shipping etc. But it is a flawless fit and looks great. There is a .2% chance they are needed.
Can't agree. IMO they look terrible. But it is a flawless fit and looks great.
Must admit I have not seen the ACS ones on a C8 in the flesh. In the flesh I have only seen them on a C7 (Z06 and Grand Sport models) and they looked fine. Can't agree. IMO they look terrible.
I've never liked splash guards ... period! So you have to take my opinion with a grain of salt. LOL.Must admit I have not seen the ACS ones on a C8 in the flesh. In the flesh I have only seen them on a C7 (Z06 and Grand Sport models) and they looked fine.
Anybody seen my pocket protector?I've never liked splash guards ... period! So you have to take my opinion with a grain of salt. LOL.
I'd rather have road rash which can eventually be repaired then to look like a nerd with splash guards
Ohhh that one hurt!!!Anybody seen my pocket protector?

How many allocations per month does your dealer get?Lots of experts here. If production, of 2023 C8, starts on May 9th and I am second on my dealers list , what is the approximate month I finally get my C8.
Your dealer may or may not receive an allocation, and if they do there is no formula as to when they might receive one. Sit back, relax and hope for the best...Lots of experts here. Like Mr. Corvette says. It's actually not about 2023 unless that is your desire. It's more about allocations and when they come.Lots of experts here. If production, of 2023 C8, starts on May 9th and I am second on my dealers list , what is the approximate month I finally get my C8.
