A few more pics captured from the show so far....
Couple of major pieces of news...
-Power plant LT2 6.2L 490HP 470ft lbs of torque
-0-60 in under 3sec in the Z51 configuration
-front end automatic lift capability to lift 2" (GPS based with 1000 memory locations)
-Storage in both ends of the vehicle (front and rear trunk)
-Talked only about DCT (Dual clutch transmission) 8sp; so does that mean no manual gearbox available?
-starting price will be under 60K US

I am very impressed with this car. The storage question well answered and what a clever design. Although I wouldn’t want to be working on it. (Like I would anyway)
Some of us were pretty much bang on with the pricing too.
Some great new features. Z button and front lift - brilliant and so convenient.

Love the look of the car but not stoked about the wing still. The rear looks better to me as well but I missed the badging. Have to go look again.

I call this car a big winner.

Looking forward to owning one in a couple years after the monsters come out and the dealerships run out of opportunities to rip us off on markups.

And don't forget with all this new 'Space Age' technology comes all the new space age bugs and diagnosing
issues from new technology. I think I too will wait until the bugs are ironed out and this thing gets refined a little
more... I like the looks although not sure about the rear - maybe it will look better in person...

I like the one you have now. You’re not a mid engine guy. Lol.

OK I will admit it was the Best Circus I've seen in years
A little slow at the beginning however the Main Attraction was
Awesome … and with no colour gimmicks … Great Choice of Red
followed by a respectful White and Blue.

It'll be no sooner than 2022 for me (that's my story so far)
Best news if we go in this direction is that ...
our stable will still have 2 Corvettes (keeping a C7)
and we stay married :joyful:

Thank you @Nik (CCF) for the ease of connecting and watching this with such ease.

The Camaro rear end is off-putting. Other than that it’s cool.

Ya I actually thought the rear end looked better than the leaked pic last week. But I’m not sure 100% either. Probably body and trim colour combinations will really change the way it looks to the eye too.
I actually would like to buy one and put a Camaro badge back there as a joke. But reality kind of gets in the way there.
The wing I definitely don’t like and seriously hope the Z06 comes with some a lot sexier.
