Thx Ron , it was a pleasure to build this car for you.

Manny, looking at things from a theory perspective;
you seem to indicate, and Chris' experience seems to agree, that despite
the SC requiring ~ 125HP to operate, that the extra load placed on the standard
engine components, [ LS2 OR Z06 ] does not compromize the integrity of the car.
The downside I see is that you stress the engine over and above the actual HP
one gets at the RWheels.
So....if one wanted to take a stock LS2 OR LS3, could you get ~ 500RWHP via
cam,headers etc ? It would seem this would be much less expensive and would not
need the extra HP to operate the SC.
As I said.. this is a theoretical question, just wondering !!

Heads and cam ,Tony are a great build, however , you do lose some everyday driveablity as you limb in the hp . The SC's allow us the option to build a 500 + hp car and still have the stock like driveablity . At the end of the day a good heads and cam build will be in the $10g range , and a SC build say with a centri & meth is pretty much the same .Heads and cam are stronger parts build , but the bottem end is still untouched. The difference being the daily driveablity .

Woodstrock car guy - There are a couple of spots around Kent County (River Road) that we can have some fun with but you are right - pretty flat around here! I may have to go back to Mosport for another open day! See ya on the road!

I used to ride river road from Chatham to Stoney Point frequently when I lived there and had a motorcycle. Unfortunately, it was about the only challenging road there. Great build - enjoy!
