Hey guy's, would anyone know where I can buy just the clay bars locally here in Ontario? Is there a good sustitute that would work? I wonder if window putty would work?

Clay can be bought in almost any auto parts store. Not too sure I would use putty. I don't think it will give you the results you are looking for.
I would suggest you have a look at this web site for lots of auto detail information. They also sell most products you will be looking at. And the cool thing they are just over in Port Colbourne.

You can buy that stuff anywhere.....are you saying that you don't want the "Kit"? The clay lasts longer than the detail spray. I wouldn't use putty if I were you.

If you've never used clay bar go to YouTube and watch the experts ,thats what I did and I learned a lot .

As far as I know, Show and Shine is still in operation, at least I remember seeing them at a show last year.

No I've used clay bar many times. Just don't need the whole kit. Also some of the clay that has came in the kits was not that easy to work with. Seemed stale or somewhat dried out.
I just thought there would be a supplier for good quality clay that I could purchase just on it's own.

I have bought and used those kits but didn't particularly like the clay. On one kit the plastic wrap was basically welded to the clay. What a bitch that was to get off.

Delivery from E-Shine is very reasonable Bill. Not sure how close you are.
