Oh I think this will be one of the most enjoyable trips in a long time for me. Aside from a few hurdles and things, this is going to be fun.

Sandy and I stop off at the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton. Had to stop and see the Lancaster as my dad was a navigator during the warView attachment 18326
I’ll have to stop in there with Dad someday again. We’ve been meaning to for years since we last went there 15 years or so ago. The Lancaster is one beautiful airplane.

I’ve been watching various vids of this area in Death Valley California. This is unofficially “Star Wars” Canyon. Apparently a filming location for some of the more recent Star Wars films.

Looking forward to Abbotsford this August. The 2019 airshow season is going to have a special attraction as the F-16 demo team has chosen this young lady to show off the plane. I see me wandering by the autograph line after her show.

On the way to Deerfoot Walmart I go by the Shell Areocentre and not far from there are these “Beauties.” Three Bell 205A,s and an older MBB of some sort. The 205 in the foreground is circa 1969. Minus 27 out there

From Bert Rutan’s Scaled Composites comes this,The worlds “newest” biggest aircraft,,,,by wingspan. Made its maiden flight on Saturday.

Kind of different seeing a Lockheed L1011 launching a cruise missile as well.
