Obviously forgot to lower the landing gear... 
I’m going to go with lousy pre-flight inspection. There is no fabric on the horizontal stabilizer or on the elevator....Obviously forgot to lower the landing gear...
Since I have no idea what a horizontal stabilizer or elevator is, I'm thinking the bent prop may have been a factor as well....
That plane in the sand looks surprisingly complete. Maybe a few issues!

Looks more like a jet powered 1/4 mile dragster. Barely enough wing to get it off the ground...lol...
Quarter Mile? That will be only a few lengths of that thing. And look at the size of the NOS bottles would ya? 1320 ft...2.6 sec. MAX
