I didn't asked how many they had done at the dealership? But I did bought all new oem gaskets for the job as recommended by you all. Thanks.Word(s) of caution.
I took mine to the local dealership, they put it on for the amazing low price of $800 ...
On the way home I got to thinking "This is the WORST $7500 I have ever spent. This thing sounds like absolute A$$. Like embarrassing ..."
After some research & sending sounds clips to Borla, they determined that I had an exhaust leak (A bad one).
Turns out the dealership did not replace the 2 gaskets (MAKE SURE TO DO THIS NO MATTER WHO INSTALLS IT), and they also in addition didnt put it on very tight, to torque specs. How do I know this, I ended up taking the entire thing off myself. No way I was going back to the dealership. So checking the torques, they did not use a torque wrench as the studs were ALL off. There was also a cracked gasket that they reused.
When I confronted the dealer with all my findings (and there were some other head scratching things they did) .. they stated that it was the first exhaust the tech had done on a C8 .... OBVIOUSLY !!!! While I dont mind people learning ... Geesuz .. and NO, I did not get a cent back form this experience.
Once I removed it, replaced the gaskets, re-installed it and all to torque specs ... It now sounds like a Symphony of V8 sounds that makes me droool everytime I start the car.
Moral of the story, BE CAREFUL. Ask the dealer (or shop) how many they have done .... While it is not rocket science, it is finicky and MUST be done methodically to seat the gaskets just right. Tourque ABSOLUTELY matters. Do some reading and you will find that it is common to have to take your time to get it all just right,. Little room for error unlike installing a Thrush on a 84 Mustang.
I wished mine bill would be $800. I am not going to haggle over the final price as long as it is done with care and correctly. Vacek's $800.800 bucks is a good deal
2M with Fabspeed I think? Man that is sweet sounds to my ears. Start at around the 7 min mark.

Since it is made in the US, 25% tariff. That does sound pretty sweet. Not too much drone just cruising along. Wonder what the price is now in CAD .
Tariffs suck . Always hurts the consumer no matter what they try to tell us. I was just notified by Fedx today that some electronics I ordered is at the border for clearance. I checked the list the government posted of all the American products covered under the first round and didn’t see any mention of electronic components/computers etc . Just keeping my fingers crossed.Since it is made in the US, 25% tariff.
I got this 2 days ago and got nailed with 25%. I kike this particular one because I a use it for front and rear.
I didn't say it was a mod anywhere. lol..Not a mod...

It’s a tad more time consuming yes , but not significant.I am guessing it is more time consuming to do this on a HTC?
Jack. I am wondering what the headers and cats you have installed ended up approximately in cost ? And would you do it again ? I wouldn’t think that you would notice a big difference in performance but it does sound really good. Thanks .Practise on a friend's car and cross his threads before you attempt on yours...
