There are many on this forum that can relate to your anxiety relative to colour choice when ordering their new Corvette. I for one, living in a small community did not have the opportunity of seeing the colour of my Corvette in person prior to order. I went on the "Internet" and looked at the various colours in photo images however as you have inferred, it's not the same as seeing it in person.
I reached out to members on this forum for their critical opinion which helped. Just the same I still had anxiety the day I went up to go see my new car once it arrived.
Good luck with your purchase. The hunt is not quite as much fun as once you have received your new car, but almost!
The sebring tintcoat stands out brighter than the DSOM on my car but all the metallic tintcoats tend to change looks with the different light or angle of reflection. Some like the sebring, some don't. I was drawn to the DSOM and since they didn't produce many in comparison, you don't see a lot of them on the road. You don't see a lot of sebrings around here either.
I would really like some opinions on the orange if anyone happens to see it in person. My only reference is from videos on YouTube. Videos from the showroom ones look ok. Maybe a bit plain but saw one out in the sunshine and it just glowed when the sun hit it. So if anyone does happen to come across it please let us know. I still have time to change my choice, but to what? They all look good. I can rule out blue and bronze and yellow. So narrowed it down a bit. I do like black but from past cars in black its just a dust magnet.

I had a Sebring Orange 2019 Z06 and got more compliments on the colour than the car itself. There is a ton of metallic flake in it and it certainly pops in the sun. It grabs your attention that’s for certain
Yeah. It is common for the not-so-common colours to get reactions like that. I had a guy on a Harley come over to me at A & W one day with a pen and paper. Asked me what the name of my colour was. He's been looking for a colour to paint his bike and said he just found it...lol...
By the way...according to the build site...there are five no charge metallic colours....blade silver, ceramic matrix grey, Elkhart lake blue, shadow grey and Zeus bronze.
I like that color as well - go for it!!!!
I agree Mopeg in regards to the colour choice, I have the same problem deciding which colour to order as haven't seen one in person. Congrats on getting a C8 that soon. Too undecided here.
I have historically been a yellow guy my last 3 z06s were yellow only certain cars can pull yellow off ferraris and corvettes lol with my zr1 I to agonized over colour choice started with yellow then changed to the orange because of the design package and for the next 6 months I second guessed myself until the car arrived when i saw it that colour looked good when i rolled it out in the sun it was awesome with the metalic it has a gold tinge to it very different kind of unique all i can say for sure somt works on a c7 looking forward to seeing it on a c8 cheers

Check out the build site “corvette configurator”.....all five colours I mention are metallics at no extra charge.silver's the one & only "free" metallic color
The cost of the different paint colors varies between the US and Canada. In Canada only Arctic White, Black, Torch Red and Blade
Silver are available at no charge.
My bad....when I got my c7 the only difference in the colour cost was the actual dollar amount between USA and Canada. The standard colour list and the extra cost colour list was identical between the two countries. Apparently times have changed if we’re getting gouged for extra cost on no charge USA options.
