My sister in law lives there and plays golf 5 days a week. They start at 6:45 am and it’s already 85f but they have a tank of cold water and misters in their golf carts. 115f there yesterday in the afternoon. They can have it far as I’m concerned. Cooled down to 105 today.

But they think they are being “ green “ . Only a bit over 17% of all energy production in Canada is considered renewable . Although it’s 68% when it comes to electricity generation. So no matter what 32% of electric vehicles aren’t “ green “ no matter how you charge them. Now if you take into consideration all of the emissions involved in the production of EV’s from mining and refining the required components it makes you wonder how “ green “ any of them are. Not to mention what do you do with the massive battery packs at the end of their life . But I suppose it’s a start.
