Hi Rob , if you know anything about me , you will note that I am very meticulous about any car/ truck I build . I assure you that this machine will run , brake and handle like a sports car :D

As the designer / builder I light the first fuse :D

Hey Marco , great to see you join our forum .

Marco is a friend from Germany , who builds Vespa's in his spare time .
Great guy and a good friend . We met in the Dominican Republic in September .

thanks for introduce

good to know that youve got the same problems that we had

we build a 50ccm vespa for a friend with 15hp (lol - pale in comparison to vetts)
but its the same multiply the power of your vetts with 10!!

"One man's meat is another man's poison" you also say i think

a few weeks later another friend told me why we doing this
because everytime he lost the races ;-)

so we build the next engine ;-)

Haha, welcome SMarco, glad to have you along. Tell us more about your vespa builds (in a separate thread tho so as not to detract from Manny's build). They were very common in England when I left some years ago.
Not many where we live here.

For anyone interested.. The owner of horsepower solutions here in Edmonton has a similar truck that I'm sure you'd enjoy lookin at on his web site. It's a turbo charged LS1 if I recall (obviously built up). Last posted time for the truck was 8.8 in the 1/4 but I know it's run 8.5 since.

Holy Honkin' quarter miles, Batman -- That's f'n fast!
I'll have to check out HS's website.
TNX for the heads-up HLN.

Not sure if the comparison is completely similar but vein they're both forced induction small blocks and they're both black so what the heck :). Neil used to run a twin turbo mustang that was also a small block chev that you can see on the web page. :) :)

Update time

Here are the results from last night's session .

Disassembly is now complete , we removed the rear diff and leaf springs and exhaust.

The fender's have been rolled for the wider rear Ford 9" and the bell housing tunnel has been clearenced for the Quicktime bell housing .

So today we will be installing all the Energy suspension urathane bushings . Cab and body mounts as well as all of the suspension parts.
The Ford 9" will be placed its new home , and we will then run the lines for the new Wilwood disc's :D

The last part is removed
