Carlos, next one is Thursday Jan 14th, this week!
Just to clarify, does that mean they'll be releasing all the allocations for the next 3 months on Thursday, not just January allocations ?

I believe they are told what to expect for those three months but will only have allocations assigned to January.
Let's say they are told 30 cars for the next three months...they will likely be told they can submit 8,9, or 10 cars matched to an allocation for January before Saturday night. The remaining number get held at 1100 status until allocation opens up for February then March.

Ah, gotcha - that makes sense. Yea even to have a rough idea of what the allocations will be over the next quarter will definitely help with managing expectations...
Due to covid, this is now being done on a month by month basis.
They will be told this week what they are allowed to order with the allocations they
are given. The dealers also write down additional allocations they would like to get in
subsequent months.

At what point does a dealer call you to input your order into the GM system? I read that orders must be in by Saturday . Leaves 2 days is that correct? Order will go to 1100 until GM approves it and so forth.
It actually goes to 1000 on a Saturday and you have until Monday to make changes in case a change is wanted.
After that it goes to 1100 and could be pulled by Wednesday.

Nice, I'm still (likely) pretty high up on the list but I'm with Spencer, but they are usually pretty good with posting updates to the forum, I'm sure they'll post an update at some point today

Small dealer no allocation !!! Large dealer yes some allocation, I don’t know how GM think some dealer did not receive any allocation yet for 2021 and some dealer are in there twenty’s Near thirty’s, I know it’s depend on the previous sale but How a dealer can upgrade their sales when they don’t have allocation so if you receive one allocation for 2020 maybe you will receive one for 2021 and only one for 2022, 2023, 2024 .... so if you are the 10 on the list you will wait 10 years for a C8 probably you should give a deposit for the C9 right now to make sure to be the first ! General Motor please help the small dealer to upgrade their sales, they can not upgrade their sales if they don’t have allocation or only allocation for Malibu !Any update for the allocation? eagerly waiting...

We received 1 allocation yesterday. Next consensus starts Feb 4 where we hope to receive more allocations.
So, you don’t think you will have allocation in 2 week ?
