This bolt is worrying me. Hopefully I can get it off without too much trouble when my wheel comes.
I have no experience really sanding and clear coating things. Anything I should know? I read to use 6 coats, sanding in between coats?
It's quite easy, took about 15 minutes. I used 180 grit to sand it off, then 420 grit to smooth it, then a little 2400. I wiped it then sprayed with clear coat Krylon satin 2 coats. Looks like the z06 was never there. Some guy on another forum stripped the bolt trying to get it off. Most seem to loosen it no problem. My car is a 2015 so maybe they tighten it more?? I'll let the dealer do this part.
