Thanks. Probably nothing right now. Prices are crazy and I have my 911 to drive. I've owned Corvettes since 1986, so I am a fan. However, I'm not sure that there will be mass appeal for the Z06 at these prices. I bought a new 2002 Z06 and a used 2003 Z06 a few years later. My guess is that those will be my only Z06's! I'd be interested in a Grand Sport if they every make one - just like the smoother lines of the wide body better (had one of those too - a 2012 :) )

Holy crap, that is some serious coin folks. I realize that there are many people on the Z06 list, but this might change things, that list will shrink fast with people opting out. The majority of people will pick the 2LZ sweet spot for tech, and the HTC seems to be the popular choice over the coupe. If you convert the price below, that means around $160K CAD + tx to get that model in a Z06, and that is not considering the Z07 stuff yet. Not sure if the Z51 package remains an option on the Z06 for another $7k+, but depending on that, the car can close at $185k-$200k CAD with taxes. Like someone else above said, I am out too (was thinking of moving a deposit over to that list and let it sit for a while, no use now)... Can only pray the e-Ray is a lot more affordable so we can get the body of the Z06, and I mean a lot more affordable.

Neil, I believe with this pricing and the fact the Z06 is a track car don't be surprised to see a lot more people opting for the coupe ( I am) also the eray will be just as expensive when you think it will also be widebody, plus hybrid motors/batteries and AWD

But the e-Ray won’t have the same engine as the Z06, but rather the Stingray engine plus an electric motor(s) on the front axle. So I’m expecting it to be far less expensive compared to GM’s “flagship C8 track car” (the Z06) however having said that, GM has just proven me wrong on pricing by going against its previously announced “the C8 Z06 price difference will compare to the difference between the Stingray and Z06 in previous generations”. Sigh.
