Here's an interesting exercise.... What was the # 1 radio song on the day you were born..... And if there's a video, it plays it as well... And you also have the option of seeing what the # 1 radio song was on the day you were conceived... or at least 9 months previous to your birthday... My day I was born #1 song was The Yellow Rose of Texas. The day I was conceived it was Mr. Sandman.... hmmm.... Better that Mr. Milkman I guess.... :rolleyes:

9 months prior it was Easier Said Than Done by The Essex
And the movie was The Carpetbaggers
 
Pulling the trailer listened to some April Wine 2day , Roller , darn good band they are. Also a newer tune for ZZ Top , I Gotsa Get Paid .

When I was born the Number one song in the usa was Manyana by Peggy Lee. When I was conceved the Number one song was Mam'selle by Art Lund. I am 36,175,040 minutes old at this time...I remember listening to your songs on the radio as a young boy..

I remember How much is the doggie in the window and Via Con Dios. Never saw the movie.. to young I guess...

Classic tune Michael.... love the song and of course Les Paul. Have played many of his namesake guitars but haven't owned one...... yet... :rolleyes:



 
great posts bill but I have to admit I prefer the David Lindley/Jackson Browne version of Mercury Blues the best.... The 81 grandfather rocks though.... Love it!
