When we were selling our musclecars, I was amazed at the number of people who wanted one but had no clue at all, zero, about what they were wanting to buy. People obviously don't do their homework at all before buying a car. Then they wonder why they get taken. With web sites like this, it is so easy to check things out and get opinions and advice.
letting my age show here. i am reminded of all the little storefront used car rip-off artists along danforth ave in toronto's east end. we used to spend saturday afternoons "test driving" then hit the men's beverage room [remember those?] and bust a gut laughing over the pieces of crap they were trying to flog.
