Alcohol is in fact a Real Solution ......... in Chemistry
Here might be the High School Chemistry & English Language Arts fine print: A solution is defined as: "a homogeneous mixture composed of two or more substances" Alcohol alone would not constitute a mixture of multiple substances and would therefore not be a solution. However
in English the word "alcohol" is also commonly used to refer to many recreational drinks containing ethyl alcohol in addition to other types of molecules
and therefore may be considered a Solution.

There is at least two too many ways to say it differently when
being asked to go to the store and buy two dozen eggs
as long as they are not too expensive ...
English is a ridiculously difficult language to understand, and I know MANY people who learned it as a primary and only language who still don't begin to understand it.
