I just purchased a 1s normal968 conv. corvette the hood is off when standing right in front looking at the engine it looks twisted to the right is this normal

welcome to CCF Ken. Great to have another C3 join us. Well to answer your question, hmmm, I'd have to say it is not as important what it looks like with the hood up, what is it like with the hood closed ? are the gaps on the sides and front more less even ? if pretty well even then all is ok. These cars are not precision fit from factory so you may see a little variance from side to side. One hinge may be a little higher than the other thus the tilt you see. But if closed and looks ok then nothing else to do I think.
