Yup, this has been the worst summer I can remember in Alberta. At least We didn’t have the forest fire issue we have had in the past few years. Take the good with the bad.
11,000 km this year and counting... and I only got it in mid-July!
That's why people move to BC when they retire - LOL. Better next year - right? I only have 12900 km on my 2016 .

Thank you very much!! Look forward to next year. I have tentatively placed my order for a C8 convertible: grey metallic, 2LT, carbon fiber interior trim, GT2 seats & front lift system. Not sure about Z51 & MRC options -adds about $7K to the cost and I don't drive that much and certainly won't be tracking it - would like MRC & sport exhaust which were separate option for 2016.The pleasure was mine as well ... Now that I've attended my first West Fest,
it will be very hard to not join in every year. Guaranteed to take away the "sucks" from "Summer".

Yeah, I hear you. It is not a matter of money for me as another $7K is not a big deal for me at all; it is, do I need it? will I notice a difference - probably on the hwy., I guess?I am fortunate to be able to forgive spending an extra $7k if on my own C8.

So I would say, get as much as you can. The expenditure will not matter at all when you are showing the car to your good friends
and guaranteeing that the Summer of 2020 will not Suck (keeping my message closer to not derailing this thread

Sorry to har that the summer in Alberta was not as expected. On the east coast, it was a fantastic summer for touring and road trips.
