Ya, it's often misunderstood. Took a while to sink in for me. "Constraint" by definition is "limitation or restriction". If there are only 10 e-diffs available then their can be only 10 Z51's in that round. Nobody knows what the limitations are, but perhaps the differential manufacturer can only provide so many at any one time and then they have to be doled out. If a dealer gets one allocation that round it may be that GM is awarding one of the 10 Z51's available to that dealer. Then the dealer has to tell his next in line customer that he must order a Z51 or skip his turn. Thanks Murray, I didn't know that.
I know an Ontario dealer that offered to jump my friend up the list if he ordered from them. He didn't. (I told him if they they were willing to jump him, why wouldn't they do the same for someone else they like better and move them past him?) No integrity.Dealer from Capital admits that they don’t follow the list and VIPs get cars ahead of regular customers.
Z06 April 2023 Allocations
So far I have heard that Brian Cullen have not received any Z06 allocations. Only the 8 Stingray allocations noted on April 6th.canadiancorvetteforums.com

Well you DO look funny! sooooI had a Dealership call me and offer me the #1 spot for an E-Ray because the owner was delusional and insisted I was funny...
'ats OK. Your toots are funny too!Don't make me use the "T" word again. I was already reprimanded...
TPW for May 8th (not really going to pressure my dealer guy or Shane for weekly updates, will just let it all happen), should be at the dealer for 3rd or 4th week of May, giving us plenty of time to customize the vehicle with lots of aero and accessories, and plenty of time to have it ready for GP weekend (downtown video shoot).
If only I could convince GM Canada to include it in a GM booth with all the downtown displays (or even to be the pace car for the race). It will have the visual appeal with the aftermarket add-ons.
Neils, not sure if you plan on installing a full strobe light package to your car which I actually did on a Z06 in the past, but unfortunately the Aston Martin Vantage is the F1 pace and safety car under contract this year.TPW for May 8th (not really going to pressure my dealer guy or Shane for weekly updates, will just let it all happen), should be at the dealer for 3rd or 4th week of May, giving us plenty of time to customize the vehicle with lots of aero and accessories, and plenty of time to have it ready for GP weekend (downtown video shoot).

fyi, once your car has been built, Shane is unable to give you anymore updates since it's a Cdn car....(ie - is the car in Repair, or is it ready for shipping etc....)TPW for May 8th (not really going to pressure my dealer guy or Shane for weekly updates, will just let it all happen), should be at the dealer for 3rd or 4th week of May, giving us plenty of time to customize the vehicle with lots of aero and accessories, and plenty of time to have it ready for GP weekend (downtown video shoot).

That's a dealer with Workbench access. There are dealers on here, but given the last argument about information dissemination, I doubt any of them will help. This is a very good thread here. Question I have for the forum. I have been following a Corvette forum in the US. As I think most others are too. They post first 4 digits of their 6 digit Order Numbers and follow status of their builds. Potential owners post their order number. One of the administrators replies with status code, TPW, and VIN#. It’s been pretty spot on from what I can see. Is there a reason we don’t do the same?
Maybe a forum policy that why I ask.
