Start of 2024 Production

From someone on midengine forum from Saturday
Thinking there was actually two shifts yesterday. C8tracker.com has a window sticker up to 42701, stickers are created shortly (usually) after when the vehicle was produced. If that was the last VIN for Friday, that is 119 for the day which falls inline for two shifts. Still need to get to at least 42,735 although, Ciocca's highest VIN, and any more after that.

Just took back my deposit for a C8, did not want to pay additional for a 2024, as I already have a 2023.
That makes sense. I am looking at retro fitting the frunk with the self closing motor when I can get the diagram and parts.

Yes, we have 2024 Corvettes in the production pipeline today.

Not sure what the heck that means. Production pipeline could be that panels are being painted! LOL
They started down the line on Friday and will be reaching the end of the line today.

If you can figure it out without needing a GM scan tool to update the firmware, I'll be very interested. That's probably the only new feature of the 2024 I care about.
Once I have a 2024 VIN #, I can have the information pulled but I am worried because the frunk is linked to the key fob an updated ECU will be in the 2024's and that will prevent me from doing this. Still, I will be reviewing the wiring diagrams to see if it can be done. The key fob can be used to release the frunk, but it has no direct impact for closing it.

Do we know what the potential impact could be on C8 production?
