I'll never forget my uncle in Italy had one back in '84 when I was there for a visit. Best part was that the engine cover didn't fit, and it didn't start worth a damn but the engine was three times more powerful than a stock bike and went like a scalded gorilla.

yea the italien are funny
last year we bougt a vespa from a italien woman
she said - "this vespa is a original italien one
and the italien are better then all other and faster"

end of the story - the engine was not an 50ccm
but a 80ccm ;-)

every vespa in italy is tuned
 
yesterdays work on my chocolate

build a new engine
the old one was to slow ;-)
also only 50ccm but the original high performance with 3,5hp
and 70kmh not 45kmh

original racing exhaust called banana
original racing crankshaft
original ignition (only a third of weight)
original hp cylinder made from alloy

maybe next week we can do the first run
because electric has to be changed
now 12volt - before only 6volt
