Real Winter is Here

Well I think it is safe to say that real winter is here. The ground is completely white and today it is -36 without the wind (-45 with). And they are saying -49 with the wind tomorrow! Spring felt so close a week ago. Now it definitely feels like winter.

Ugg, that sounds nasty --- Here it's staying mild and wet after a couple of cold days and the forecast is not bad for the next few weeks.

I hope you get your spring like weather back soon and actual spring isn't too far off.

I' m thinking you spoke a little too soon CCO, unless there is a big difference over your way; temp just dropped 10 degrees in the last two hours.....after all this rain we got yesterday..can you say flash freeze !!!

On a good note, it was still light at 5:30 tonight, so the day are getting longer.

Spoke too soon? -- perhaps -- but I thought I was reflecting the weathernetwork forecast -- maybe I misread it.:D

This freeze and a little snow has always been forecast. But hey not bad when you take all into account.
You weren't expecting it to stay warm with no snow and cold at all were you Brian?

Not nice at all. I want our other 'fake' winter back. :D

Good thing it's going up to +5 next week.

well ....we must be really blessed in welland [g]. got 8 ins of that
white,fluffy stuff. [ugh].
sure dispelled thoughts of an early spring. Add temps at night of - 12C,
and its a reminder that its still Feb.

We got lucky again.
So much for the Storm of 2012. Should we bring in the army again?:D

So far so good. I have not pulled the snowblower out of the garage this season.

The weather reports were way off on this one. (which is great)
Snowmagedden was a flop.:D

Bring on the Spring!!! I'm more than ready.:canada:
