Very strange that the carbon tax didn’t prevent this from happening…
I do hope that you had insurance. Curious as to why it wasn’t taken out of the water before the storm. Was it an unexpected event ?

It's not my boat. A guy tied it up to an unused mooring buoy with a 1/2" line on one stern cleat back in august.

Most of us knew it wouldn't last through the 1st fall storm.

Within 2 hours of the storm on Oct. 18, the line broke and it was on the beach.

There are a lot of gov't agencies involved in getting rid of something like this and it takes time.

Took this picture today at my buddy's in the heart of Red Deer. This was parked 2 houses away from 9 am until 12:30 pm. Just taking a break I guess. He didn't budge a bit when I walked up to about 50 feet away.
