Is this one used or “pre-owned” Mike?
Amazing how Ford did the super limited build... tacked on a huge price tag and people were lined up to apply to buy this car.
I thought I saw the last new auctioned off in Vegas last year. You guys have a thread on here about this auction and I remember posting the car going for millions. Money went to charities.

Anyway interesting car and great story behind it as well.

I’m not sure Derek. I’m thinking tomorrow might be “roving reporter day” if there’s any interest in a walk around vid ? Pending a salesman’s ok with that.

I just got word from Chris there’s a Ford only show/shine going on at Cam Clark tomorrow. I’m going to go with Dad and one of his buddies. I’ll be wearing my CCF shirt and hat proudly. :canada:

Ok thanks the article cleared up the ownership question Mike. Interesting is the 2 year sales ban to prevent the flipping of these cars. Kind of like that.

The car has treated me well.. A very easy picture to take... photography being probably the one hobby that has stayed with me for so long... Random shot... hmm... let's see... Didn't expect this... I actually made a 4ft canvass of the second of the two and surprised the father with it as a gift once we found where he lived on the river. After his initial shock of not believing I was trying to scam or talk him into something... tears rolled down his face when he realized it was simply a gift... and happened to be one of the only shots he has had in years of him and his son.

Here’s a sweet looking old Corvair we came across as we were leaving. Don’t see many of these around anymore. Just want to say thanks to @Cariboocreek and @Jeremiad for coming out early on a Saturday. It was nice to meet you Al finally and thanks for a closer look at your GS. Going to be bringing Dad along on more of these little outings. He’s liking it.
