Sweet!. We just did a intake and a Cobb Stage 2 91 octane tune on a friend of mines 2011 Carrera GTS. I'll snap some shots next time I'm around his car.

Parked out front of Nat's Pizzeria last Saturday.

Nice Monte Carlo SS.

For me I thought it was a car that GM could of done better with perhaps a V8 and rwd.

They did come out with a V8 in the last two years of that model, 2006-2007.
BUT still front wheel drive.
From what I understand that discussion in early 2000s that platform was planned to be changed to rear wheel drive in about 2005 but those plans changed when they decided to put their efforts into the Cadillac performance line..
I still like my Monte...

We have a no winters 1997 Olds LSS with the same Supercharged 3.8. Not killer for sure but surprises people just the same. It is a nice cruiser and the suspension is firmed up so that it doesn't wallow in the corners like the older ones did.

Love the 70's monte carlos ………….well up to 1978. Had a 1976 in the teal with white interior swivel buckets...………….beautiful lines!

Here is my son’s ‘71 Monte Carlo SS454 LS5, numbers matching.

He is a major player in the 1st Generation Monte Carlo website.

He has an upcoming show in Penticton next week.
30 1st Generation Montes will be attending for their West Coast 2019 Meet.

He also owns a 1970 MonteCarlo.. he has owned it for 20+ years.

This is his daily driver in the nicer months.
