Another thing caught my attention at the car dealership while walking the lot. This reclaimed truck had a prominent sticker on it and is apparently going to be repaired now ... someone’s personal vehicle ... Hope insurance takes care of this for the owner ...

I intentionally distorted the numbers in the photo ...

Brenda and I met the BG group in Red Deer this morning and with their blessing, tagged along as far as Capital Chevrolet in Calgary were a number of other caravan Vettes joined in. Capital put on an outstanding BBQ and everyone that was travelling on to Kentucky got themselves organized. I was a bit surprised when Paul announced he would be checking everyone's "package" but when questioned, he quickly advised it was the travel package they put together... lol... Their were about 25 Corvettes that left Gasoline Alley in Red Deer and I'mnot sure how many there were by the time we got to Capital.
Would just like to wish everyone safe travels and have a great trip.



On a bit of a down note, I noticed about 10 new and used Vettes on the Capital lot with ugly patches of paint missing from front bumpers and hoods.When I asked about it, I was advised that vandals had sprayed lacquer thinner on the whole row of Vettes. Pretty sad state of the nation when vermin are out doing things like this and much worse and no one seems to be able to do anything about it. I'm not about to get political here but there are laws in other countries out there that people caught doing things like this ... Well...they usually don't do it again.....Just sayin....

And not to be the bearer of downer news, this also hitme pretty hard on the way back from Calgary.... Ginger turned 20 today.... 20,000 that is...

By the time they get to BG they will be too full to get out of their cars.

Thanks for the pics and the story Eric. Ginger is not showing her age at all. Looking good.
