During the playoff run in 04,the sign shop made an order of these SNBs (street name blades) for the bar district area on 17 ave SW. They had made some extras and some of us guys got a few. I sold mine on Ebay back in 07. I got $350.00 US for it from a guy in New Orleans of all places. This particular one is signed by the Mayor at the time,Dave Bronconnier.

With the Calgary Stampede underway,never hard to find a free pancake breakfast. Thanks to “Flapjack Finder”,you’re always close to free grub. This morning my breakfast is a 2 minute walk to the community centre at the end of the street I reside on.

The rancher guy just pulled up with some horses for the kids to ride on. I can already hear the live band doing a sound check. Going to hit the shower and mosey on over shortly. More pics and perhaps a vid in a bit.

Pretty good turnout so far. Horses and buggy rides in the field across the street. 2 fire trucks showed up. The spin the wheel game is for university of Calgary promo items. I won a pennant and gave it to a little girl who was hoping for a cowbell with her spin which netted her sunglasses. Weather is just perfect. Last year it was raining so i passed on wandering over. I went back for seconds this time though. These sausages were pretty tasty as were the hash browns.

There’s a lot going on on this truck. I see this guy all the time around town. He’s a miserable old coot. Still room for more bling I told him last year. Lol. He didn’t like that.
