Picture of our Canadian weather

For us in snow country it's only 67 days till April 1st .

I did have to bring my car up from Florida and hit part of the big storm

Cleaned up really nice Elf. Must have been a little scary driving through that mess.

Where have you been by the way? We missed you.

The snow was that wet mush which was really slick then toss a bunch of beloved Southerners on the road it made it challenging . The car has Michelin sport AS tires and of coarse traction control .I was impressed that the car was very well balanced .I drove like a polar bear was on my azz .
I poke in once a week but not much intelligent to add (mother said I was a little slow):D

Not sure where "North of Canada" is Elf but I know we are sure looking forward to April 1 here in Central AB.... or even March 20 if it promises a true spring arrival....lol.... .Winter never seemed this long before the first Corvette.... Even waiting for the golf course to open didn't bother me this much...:Ack2:

Glad to hear you had no problems running the southern driver gauntlet or the storm....

Well.... not gonna rub it in.... and not going to post pictures either but I will say that 38 C is just way too fricking hot...ok...once again I said frickng but didn't really mean it.... suffice to say. after 26 hours in airports and airplanes we are finally in Adelaide, Austrailia and it is HOT..... And I'm proud to say that i managed the 40 minute drive from the airport to Mount Barkley.... all on the wrong side of the road.... all with the windshield wipers going every time I made a turn and the Aussies politely tooting their horn at me.... at least i think it was politely.... and haven't seen a Corvette yet.... actually have only seen a couple Porsche 911 Carrera 4S cruising around... sheesh.... do they not know what they are missing.... what can I say though.... i'm driving a corolla....even if it does make 722 RWHP..... oops....sorry... i just woke up from that dream.... that should have said 72 RWHP..... more to come....

I would say, all you have to do is give that Corolla to Manny and he'll get it up to 772 rwhp for you! :D
Keep an eye out for the 'utes. I hear Holden has some serious power under the hood.

You are right on that one Riley.... these little 1/2 scale El Camino's are all over the place. I thought "awww....aren't they cute".... until I looked at the LS3 badge..... Gotta think they will go like stink. Same weight as the C7 with 430hp pushing them.... Betcha they don't corner as well as a corvette though....

Well.... Here it is. Time to resurrect last year's thread.... Our Alberta November is over and December has come in reminding us of why we have a season called winter.... Two snow events... Last night dumped another couple inches on us here for a total of 6 or so in the last few days.... I did get to try out the new plow truck though... Worked like a charm although it was a bit unnerving to have brakes again.... After so long without them, I found myself not trusting that when I pushed the pedal that I would stop....lol... Was -4 here today but forecast is -16 tomorrow and -30 by Wednesday night.... So anytime you West Coast/Central Province members want to share some winter cruise pictures with us frozen Prairie dwellers, feel free.... we need some encouragement to help us through....:Ice:

There was a car show in Steveston/Richmond today and they got lucky with a beautiful sunny/dry day.
I didn't make it to the show but I'm waiting for pictures to be posted.
I should have put an insurance permit on the Vette.. darn.

Graham

Eric.. nice plow truck.. sorry.
hehe.... no sorry necessary Graham... after 36 years here, if i needed sorry, I would have moved by now... But I do still like to complain once in a while.... :Nopity:

I like the custom blacked out windows and chains............
hahaha.... the black poly tape covering the window hole was a necessity after my nephew rolled the car hauler it was on.... I had the chains laying around doing nothing for a long time so thought I'd throw them on.... Lemme tell ya... It's a stretch to get 16 inch chains on a 17 inch tire....lol... but they work great in the snow.... haven't had her in 4 x 4 yet....
