Here's what some of these brave souls face at the track every time they hit the 'loud' pedal. I suspect that some of them didn't make it.

Anyone who's been to these events knows that it can be a pretty violent sport at times.

in the days before the kevlar "blankets" it wasn't uncommon to see a blower grenade and go 75 ft in the air. not pretty if you were in the way when it fell back to earth !!!!

Brutal. Some of those crashes are hard to watch Colin. It is a miracle that they can survive wrecks like those but they can and do.
