I know most of the guys/gals took advantage of the A&W here which is part of the paved Super 8 parking lot where we all parked. Also a lot more room for more visitors. Not sure about a facility at Pigeon Lake.

Badly want that nice weather back again soon. Seems like forever since we had any of that.

Jeffer, no need to have a yellow vette..........we will let pretty much anyone in for the day lol.
Colin, yes that would be me beside my C5. We can only hope for such a beautiful day (May 5, 2013) again this year with not a cloud in the sky.

I somehow pictured you as older.......Gosh you're just a young whippersnapper .. or you're older and you wear your years well......:D

Hope the knee comes along well -- sounds like it's loosening up somewhat just in time for the next 'vette season.

When I ordered last summer it the delivery was estimated for February and I think it's still on track, although we'll see how fast GM ships it. Apparently it will come to Calgary on a train.

I ordered some Pirelli Sottozero tires for it which were available in the OEM Z51 size (even though I couldn't find the exact size on internet tire sites, they were actually available for order in the exact size). I think Michelin Alpin PA4 also come in the exact Z51 OEM size but seemed to be sold out. There were Michelin and Bridgestone all seasons available in Z51 size as well. I couldn't find any run flats in the Z51 OEM sizes for winter or all season tires, so hopefully that will be available in the future. I intend to run this car in shoulder seasons when roads are somewhat clear and figured it would be good to have a tire I could count on on cold pavement in an emergency like someone left turning me or such. I guess I'll find out how well it wears which will probably be an issue.
 
Exciting times for sure. Hope the car comes in Feb. as promised.

Traction will be at a premium with any tires , but it sounds like you Pirelli's will get the job done ....... good luck with delivery.

O yeah Colin I'm a whippersnapper!! Most days I feel younger than I am which is a good thing helps me keep up to my grandson. Guess I started young..........have a grandson who just turned a teenager this year! Anyway don't think you have to many years on me. Sorry guys..........what was this thread about..............

You must be getting excited 'bout now. At least when I comes in you can go see it and take some pics.

Has there been any change in price since our dollar has slipped to $.90 or so?

My guess is that yours is locked in but what about future sales?
