Welcome to the forum Jarett! I am a 23 year old up in Fort Mac waiting on my Vette as well. Perhaps we'll meet up sometime in Edmonton. Sucks we have to wait all winter to see our Vette's and be able to drive them. I don't expect for mine to arrive until April-ish. Which will be perfect timing to be able to drive.

23 is a great age to get a Vette! I wanted one earlier but it's only now at 34 that I felt I can justify the purchase.

Both of you guys let me know if you're in Edmonton next summer, we can have a C7 meet :)

Welcome to the Forum Jarett, keep your eye out for a meet and great in Ponoka this Spring.

As soon as Somebuddy get's off his ass and organizes it......... There's a subtle hint there buddy.......

Ya ya BF...........we have so much snow piling up its a long way til spring. We did have an awesome meet tho and plan to host another one this spring......would be awesome to see a C7 for it!!

Just got word my black/red Z51 3LT is scheduled to be built later this month.

I ordered in early August and my wife finally had to buy me a C7 model for Christmas to try and shut me up. I can't wait! Time to track down some cold weather tires for it!

Does that mean delivery in Feb.?
I got one of those C7 models from Corvette Central for my brother this past Christmas.

Interesting that you will install cold weather tires on it. Let us know what you come up with.

C.

Hey Somebudy May is only 3 1/2 months away. Before we know it the covers will be coming off the cars! Looking forward to coming to Ponoka again and meeting up with everyone! I'm sure the guy with the Ford Boss Mustang will be back, got a kick out of him!

Hey Somebuddy, just wondering how your knee is doing? Haven't heard you post anything for a while. Both of mine seem to be coming along, the left one is a little sorer than the right one but other than that I can't complain.

Yes Rocky, Pete with the Mustang is quite an interesting fella. He taught me to fly RC close to 25 years ago when I met him. He still flys RC today like a wild man!! Had a serious wreck in his I believe 77 mustang last winter which prompted him to his current stang. He has a nice old camero as well. Looking forward to our spring meet......seems a ways away yet.
Navion glad your getting along well. Feb 1st 013 was my surgery day. Lots of physio, home exercise ect ect and the darn knee would still not bend......went on with only about 70 degrees bend right through til about Oct then all of a sudden it started to get more bend and feeling. I'm at about 97 degrees now which makes everything much easier. I was thankful I had no infection ect. I will be able to ride my motorcycle this year for sure.

Ponoka meet sounds fun. Recommend we think about meeting in Pigeon Lake or something where they can all be parked.

In any case, I am looking forward to seeing some of those C7s in action soon!

Lord help me, I need to make more money!

how many usually go to ponoka (to the meet as opposed to a months stay)

Jeffer2013

Ha ha Jeffer we've heard them all here...lol. We had 15 or 16 vettes and 1 stang at our first meet held last spring. Hopefully we can match or top that for this spring!
I know most of the guys/gals took advantage of the A&W here which is part of the paved Super 8 parking lot where we all parked. Also a lot more room for more visitors. Not sure about a facility at Pigeon Lake.
