New-"put your money where your mouth is" build!

Thanx guys-getting real anxious now with the good weather!

Gotta thank Manny and Dan for making all those trips to Buffalo to keep picking up parts for me.

Now if ECS would just ship out my YSi tuner kit!

Spent a bit more time on it again today.

Went and upgrade to the Comp Trunions

Since I plan on turning this motor past 7300 I opted for some BTRacing 3/8" pushrods

Shimed the BTRacing springs to .050 from coil bind to avoid any "bounce" and the 3/8 pushrods clear with plenty of room.

LOL, how much past 7300 Arun.
.....and what rpm are you expecting at the end of the half mile?. What rear gear are you going with?

Thanks for taking the time to update this build. You know we're on the edge of our seats knowing what you want to accomplish.

Well got some bad news from ECS today.

There waiting on the "big" intercooler cores so there no "ETA" on when my ECS kit will ship-there hoping next week.

Which leaves no time for my car with all the cars waiting in the shop to get finished.

So it looks like Chicago is not going to happen for me.

:(

Bummer Arun -- Maybe you'll get lucky with ECS's order, we can only hope.

Have you considered another visit to the Texas mile?
I see there's another event in October. - or is the car setup too different for the longer race?

C.

Ahhhhhhhh, that sucks! I was hoping to see the car run but that is only part of the reason why I am going. Looking forward to meeting all of you guys!

2300 horsepower!!!!

Yep-here's what 2300 horsepower looks like-side by side!

Well-it's been very long week. Up at 5:30am for my regular job and tuning late till 10:00pm at Dasilva's.

Then I was at my shop all day Saturday and Today-no rest for the wicked that's for sure!

Got some time to get the blower alignment figured out for my 408 that's shipping to Finland. The A&A black brackets were not lining up the blower pulley properly-seems the anodizing left some hi spots on the bracket that was enough to throw out the alignment on a 10 rib setup.

Josh@A&A was good enough to send me some regular polished brackets and voila-problem solved-now to start crating this motor for it's long trip.

And finally mine-it's all together and waiting on ECS to send me some blower brackets so I can check alignment on the engine stand-then it's ready to drop in my car.

If ur waiting for me to reply to a text or email-now you know why.

Congrats Arun - you've got twins! ... amazing numbers out of those babies tho I'm not sure I'd know what to do with anything more than mine has right now.
More than enough to get me in trouble and more than enough to blow the doors off (if I so desired) most of the planet even with s**t 'runcraps':D

Sound like you need a holiday to catch up on some down time.
Kudos for being there, brother......you're a good man and made driving a lot more 'interesting' for a lot of us.

I appreciate you coming in here to keep us up on what's happening with your builds.
Don't sweat the Chicago event -- there's many others just awaitin' for ya. :D

Cheers,
Colin.
