We were without power for almost 4 days.
Thanks for the help of a Honda 3000 Generator and my electrician neighbour, We were able to get the furnice going, appliances working, a few lights and the TV for the Grandkids visiting from Vancouver. We made the best of it, and had some fun.

Back on topic. That is absolutely insane! We got our first winter storm yesterday in quite a long time. Lots of snow with 45km/h winds gusting to 65 km/h. Actually, the wind just blew the snow along and only made some good sized drifts behind stationary objects. It really wasn't that big of a deal and isn't nearly as bad as an ice storm! Wow!
