Denis I was starting to like you then you state the NPP exhaust is enough volume, even GM stated how many complaints they have had over it and why they spent so much time getting the Z06 exhaust right, I have no mufflers with sport cats and agree with Vette411 that the best part of an HTC is lowering the window to get some reminder this isn't a Tesla.

It's a fine line between a nice exhaust note and just an annoyance. Loud does not always equal fast.
At least on a lot of the quality exhaust systems you still have the valving to quiet it down.
A lot of jurisdictions are enacting bylaws so the boys in blue can write you up at least on the West Coast.
Nothing ruins a nice drive than a $165 ticket and a mandatory inspection. And the cost to make it comply for the inspection.
