Headlights not working properly.

I have encountered a problem with my headlights coming on when the engine is running won't come on but if I turn them on with the engine off they come on. Wondering if this could be the light switch or a short somewhere. Thought I would inquire here before going to a mechanic. Thanks

Maybe check the ZR-1 Net Registry Forum, they have a sticky that goes through just about every part on the ZR-1's

bad headlight module? swap it out if you have a spare.
