if you are considering a supra you mind as well buy a real BMW, 2023 M240ix would be much better
Honnestly part of my short list, though I suspect delivery times may be significant as well. And the new M2 is around the corner with AWD and a manual gearbox. Depreciation may come fast for that car compared to the M2. But going for an M2 gets me the same challenge as the C8 : extended delivery times ... + big mark ups for sure.
I'm actually close to buying an 2004 BMW Z4 3.0i with 35 000km on it only. Very fun to drive at reasonable speeds. Can't get rid of my 2005 Mazda RX8 (rotary engine) either, this screamer goes all the way up to 9500 rpm, it's intoxicating even at speeds that won't send you to jail ... and maintenance cost is quite limited. Interestingly the 1974 Corvette could have been a 4 rotor Wenkel engine and no V8 :) Let's say I'm driving somehow a piece of history :)
