There was smoke, but no fire.

I'd be a little worried about sitting on a bomb.

The fumes from one of these batteries when burning, will kill you. Get rid of them. Big or small, they need to be kept away from your house or garage.

WNKY in Bowling Green reports late Monday evening that the fire department and hazmat crews were dispatched to the Corvette Assembly Plant. According to the report, the emergency was "quickly downgraded."
