Good afternoon Riley, Wayne,
Yep, no doubt I am one very lucky SOB. I still wonder why I survived cancer but I am thankful that I totally altered my life in some major ways including my career and my parenting. I know that not everyone is as lucky as I am for finances but also many who are do not have their priorities straight either. I am fortunate that I am wise enough to take advantage of the ability I have to spend so much time with my son. What a great time for me and I hope it will be remembered my Aidan when he becomes a father in his life and for him to do the important things.
I accept that I might have to have a "traditional" job and lifestyle but only when that will be forced upon me and I have no other choice.
I was so surprised that the bookshelves made it into the bedroom as it is in the end of the hall and the house only had 3' wide hallways. But we swung it into the bathroom, then into my son's room, then into my room, onto the bed and then flipped up and bingo into place it went. Much rejoicing ensued let me tell you!
Wayne I have to say, living as I do in a cave, that I somehow had never heard of this song/phenomena of "What Does A Fox Say" and was stunned when I saw that there were 128 million views on YouTube. I guess not having TV (going on 6 years now too!!) and so forth I'm just out of touch with some parts of the world. But it was fun to learn the song, at least the parts I can both remember and pronounce and to sing it with my son to and from school and also to wake him up in the morning by blasting it in the house!!
And Riley you ought to see my winter gloves with a few sets of bells on each hand, I love the jingling as I walk!
Odd weather, +1 now, freezing rain.............
Cheers,
Garry`
