dealer to AVOID !!

I appreciate all the support in this matter from the Canadian Corvette Forum. I gave up posting on the American Corvette forum because there are so many goofballs on there and I would not have gotten the support on there that I have received from you folks.
When I mentioned to Management Level Customer Service at GM that 319 people had viewed my post and all those who replied were in my favour, I thought that the lady's attitude changed for the better. It was a good sign when she asked me "What would it take to make you happy?" I replied...a key, and a fob programmed at Scott Drummond Motors.
A funny question she asked was.."Who was the salesman?" "And who tried to slip by the disability insurance which you did not want?" I did get a refund for that payment.

I am still waiting for resolution of this matter.

I believe you would of also got positive response from the US forum.
Not all members are so called goofballs.
Good Luck :canada:

Diane Parsons 905 255 9151 so called General manager who is great at ducking phone calls, and Ernie someone was the salesman.
Thanks Dan

Pardon the off topic but:

I've come across this circumstance b4 and yes there are many nice members down there in the US forum with many of us in attendance too, but there are many a-holes down there who ruin it for everyone.
I attribute it to them being a large forum with many trolls and troublemakers.
It's a shame because the info source is unmatched and as said there are many great members who are very helpful.

A small forum for me is much more 'palatable' as the saying goes.
The silly bickering and nonsense on larger forums is intolerable to me.

Just my preference and I had to say in support of tgracr.

GM is avoiding calling me back on this issue
Sure makes me glad I have 100k worth of GM products in my driveway.
I feel like trading this Vette in on a Mustang GT or boss 302

We go through Campbellford quite often. I'll have to stop in some time and let the boss at Drummond know that there are car people out there who appreciate it when a dealership goes the extra mile so to speak. If these dealerships had any idea how well connected cars guys are with these web sites of ours, they might just change their attitude just a little. Then again, many of them are so set in their slippery ways that nothing will change them except perhaps bankruptcy....and that wouldn't be all bad in some cases.

Whoa there friend

Its not the Corvettes fault or GM, :nono: that you are screwed around by a "dealer":swear:

Hang in there :canada: Keep banging on their door!!!

if you google ANY brand including Ford you will see similar stories.... The same dealer who screwed you would switch to Mazda tomorrow to make extra BUCK

I was called from the GM executive level today.
I believe that there is going to be a "come to jesus ""call from GM to Courtesy tomorrow.
He said WE ARE THE MAUFACTURER, we will get the work orders you want also.along with resolution on the key issue.

I will keep you posted.

Sounds like GM may not want to lose you after all.
It remains to be seen if Courtesy really cares.

GM Canada will give me $200 Courtesy Chev $0.
I am not finished,as the GM rep is calling the owner of the dealership on my suggestion.
The GM rep can not understand Diane Parson's (general manager) reluctance to make this right.
My next move is to contact the used car authority which I payed $5.00 for their protection,in the sales contract, the better bussiness bureau, the Toronto Star wheels (whats your beef).
Also it is against the law to charge an admin fee after a price is agreed on I found out, which I was charged.
ITs not the money, it's the principal of treating people with fareness and respect.
