4800??? 3800 or 4000. Yours will not go on a train.

4B00! It's a B not an 8 and that means it's on QCH (Quality control hold). They might all be on hold though.
Thanks, this order went thru a lot quicker than I was expecting. Didn’t expect to see this car until spring. Andrew Spencer was also very surprised how fast GM jumped on this order. Hmmm, wonder if my email to Mary Barra had something to do with it
Yes your right, checked the email paperwork again and it does say 4B00, not 4800.
Wonder if it may have something to do with the new paint spec...Red Mist Metallic?
I found this information for 4B00. says it could either be QC issue or it could be waiting on transportation. We’ll see if it changes in the next few days.

I think that is erroneous. It's almost always QCH and could very well be something different for the 2021's like software updates for example.
Yes, if you remember Murray my car was built a week before yours but you received your car two weeks before I did.
Your car went directly to shipping while mine was 4B00 (bayed) for 2 weeks.
Quite often it is something as simple as a panel alignment that the inspector didn't like.
BGA has a crew that do only corrections to bayed cars to get the final shipping approval.
They know how fussy Corvette buyers are and QC is very important to the factory.

It looks like 4B00 - Bayed is for transportation. This was confirmed by my dealer.
4B00 Bayed (Note: a “B”, not an“8”): Car is waiting transportation by transporter
The status code for quality hold is below: “D” is for quality control hold.

I don't like to argue with dealers, but if it was ready to ship it would be 4200 not 4B00.

We saw this ship in the East River in Brunswick GA last December just shortly after it tipped over. It was quite a site. About 1/2 KM off shore in the river channel. Full of new Hyundai’s, Mercedes and BMWs. Over 4000 vehicles in it. All being scrapped.
Corvette Blogger has it listed this way as well. Shows 4B00 as Bayed waiting for shipping.
