I just learned today that It takes 2.5 shifts to built a C8. Don't worry yet Sparro!
I believe the first regular production HTC's came off the line today.

The first of the customer verts were said to come off the line yesterday... anyone know how many?
Seems like mum is the word on if they finished production of any verts. Would be nice to know how many, if any?

There are a host of posts from US forums about 2-20 vert built already and delivery from one week till Oct 20.

There will likely be a 4 week QC hold in my opinion, but you never know. Lets hope I'm wrong in the good direction!
And they have to install the safety chain on the HTC.
According to Jeremy, he is expecting a two week quality control hold on convertibles, barring any major problems that might show up. If that is true, shipping should start just as I'm built so I might get shipped out with the first batches of verts to be shipped.
I'm gonna touch base with GM on Monday. That will put me one week to my TPW, I should be at 3400 and a VIN available by then right?
I hope you're right. But you just never know.
Any confirmation of when the 2nd shift is going to start?

Yes, but it might not until a week before your actual build day. Mine didn't show up until Wednesday the 22nd and my car was finished on the next Thursday, the 30th. It's possible it was there on the 21st though since my car was started on the 28th.
Edit: BTW the Concierge will be useless as they now get a weekly report. So they will only tell you where you were the week before.
