Corvette C8 Delivery Confirmations

Does anyone know whether cars are being shipped during the plant shutdown?
That question was asked of the U.S. Corvette concierge and the answer might be received in their internal meeting later today.
We should find out tomorrow, but it is an "orderly shutdown" and isn't a hard end. I believe they would want to send cars out, but time will tell.

Still waiting for my car, Jack cooper transport simply says pending which probably means its still at the plant in Kentucky. Not knowing if the car will get on the truck and start driving up is killing me because of the whole virus mess and how it could impact the border. Anyone know how long jack cooper tracking says status pending before status changes to dispatched? Once it says dispatched I know it’ll be about a 11-12 hour drive til it’s here.

Well I was waiting for my TPW 04/06 vert to hit production soon... guess that ain't happening anymore. Back to just watching YouTube of the luck ones that got cars.

I am wondering if there is anyone on here, from the Markham, Oshawa, Uxbridge area, that has taken delivery of their C8 for us to ogle at?

So I contacted GM Chat today to see if they know anything... they don't. But my TPW of April 6th is now April 20th for my convertible. Not sure if that's due to the COVID-19 shut down. Hopefully they can reopen on April 1st. but I ain't holding my breath.
Do any of our dealers on this forum know anything to to help ease the nerves?

Would be a great opportunity to clear out the parking lot full of Vette. Since they were producing them faster than they could ship them.

I was in Bowling Green last night, stayed over at a hotel beside the plant. Today I passed a transport loaded with C8’s in Ohio on I65.
Forgot to mention, left the hotel at 0530hrs this morning, plant was running today as I saw all the workers driving into the plant on Corvette Drive For their shift start at 0600hrs.
