Event Cold Lake Air Show 65th Corvette Anniversary Celebration - 20-Jul-2018

Friday Morning 9am Meeting at Sherwood park flying j
With a hopeful 9:30am launch toward Cold Lake.
Not sure how many cars however if exceeding 15 or so, which I expect it will,
The journey may likely be segregated.
As I am not from Edmonton, I am leery of doing a dodge left then right then left through the country roads and would therefore choose to rather take a main highway to cold lake through Bonnyville. Gathering there after a quick bite to eat for the leg into cold lake via the Marriott hotel. I plan to have it written on a handout sheet with a brief explanation at 9am. Which will include the gathering spot in Cold lake for the short cruise to the Friday late afternoon AFB photo shoot. I hope weather will be on our side however am confident that our experience will be good. I am driving from Calgary to stay overnight near the launch ... Cheers

we were going to come along but the hotel in waterous sask had an employee who decided to back out of the parking lot backwards onto the street and rear end our car so I am now looking for an autobody shop to replace the rear drivers side panel, we got the police involved he hid the car and it was a night to remember but I caught the creep and he is being charged with hit and run

have fun guys and gals, remember the planes go faster than the cars and do not try to catch them, you have no parachutes

Wow Jeff, I am so sorry to hear that. If you want to call me this evening I can give you a couple of the best body shops in the city. They work on alot of nice and high end cars. Don't settle for a high production body shop.

As much fun as the MITM participants had on their week long sojourn,I’m hoping to make this my “trip to remember”

Our first His and Hers Caravan Weekend Event

The morning starts time for some fun.
The Sherwood Park Holiday Inn Express treated us like GOLD last night. They get our recommendation for anyone considering a stay here. I predict we will be staying here whenever we have to return to Edmonton’s East Side



We are travelling today honouring a very special and close Corvette Friend who we (and many others) met right here on CCF and had plans but is unable to join us this weekend.
