I believe that photo was just before the accident. The 104 Starfighter just off the right wingtip hit the bomber and created an "incident". Here is the story.
The remaining XB 70 apparently is in the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio. @Cariboocreek thanks for the story.
It was a gorgeous aircraft and somewhat ahead of it’s time. Unfortunately it was a solution looking for a problem.
Time to start the other engine maybe?
Nah. Real men don't need two engines…..sheesh….
Its flying in "eco" mode, fuel is expensive.
Didn't know Gretzky had an airplane, appears he is still in the lead.
And if he's not in the lead he just flies it upside down and pretends he's Mario Lemieux
