Reminds me of the P51 that was at Hamilton in the early 80's. I was working there and as soon as we heard it, we'd drop tools and run outside to watch. Simply beautiful.

Pilot is only 4'6" tall. He can't see over the cowling if he sits back in the seat.....

Not sure if anyone read the story on the American F35 that has been lost in the US. The pilot bailed, the jet continued on but now they cannot find the remains of it. Weird with all the electronic stuff built into modern warfare jets.
