The ports are taller than the LT1 intake and would cause a huge air leak if you try to use them. Same thing happens when you try to put a Chevy oval port intake on rectangular port heads.
Went for breakfast this morning at a popular place and I had to go around back to park .There it was a 86 or 87 sitting outside of a run down apartment building .The car was covered with tree limbs ,leaves and brush .It wasn't anything special but it shouldn't be treated like that .I'm going back some evening this week .
Funny enough, one of my customers comes in tonight and has his C4 parked right outside. I asked to look at it and it was a very nice 1995 white ZR1. He got it 2 months ago with 25k kms on it. Told me he paid $25K for it. Does that price sound reasonable ?
I'm sure I'll get into some mods -- probably nothing 'internal' for a while. I don't have a wife to make happy but I do have an accountant who might frown on recent 'events'......

I was tempted to buy one. The engine is bullet proof but they do wear out and eventually you will need parts and that could be a big problem. As collector cars go, they just haven't fired the imagination of collectors yet. Perhaps when they are older the flame will ignite.

I've seen pricing in that range and higher. ZR-1's were pretty much double the price of the base models! -- believe it or not. I've seen a bill of sale for a '94 that is about $40k for the base model (convertible) -- I"ve also seen BOS for the ZR-1 for over $70k!!!!!!
So you be the judge -- If the car is in good shape with low miles then I"d say yes $25 is ok. I paid $14k for my '94 vert also low miles and 'pristine' (and I mean pristine).
